Expect foods from around the globe -- think Latin, Asian, Italian Pasta, Indian, American, gluten-free and vegetarian.
The restaurant opens Wednesday, Nov. 15, with a grand opening and ribbon-cutting on Friday, Nov. 17, complete with free tastings that day from 3 to 6 p.m. The ribbon-cutting at 3:30 p.m.
The change is in line with the initiative of the World Heritage Cultural Center, a new nonprofit based in Brewster that is run by Sattie Persaud, the sister of Kass Owner Gita Daka.
Not only will this be a center for learning about any culture in the world, but it will also generate scholarship programs, bring in scholars from around the globe for lectures; offer work-study programs and summer camps.
"We literally have the world in our backyard and we want to make Brewster a destination," he said.
